North Florida Farm
acrylic on canvas
This is fairly typical of the rural area I live in. I love it so much.

My area looks like your painting too Linda. Lots of pasture and cows. Love the light you always achieve.

Don't you love pastoral painting? I really do.

Oh yes, I do like them but I am a landscape lover from the git go. I just wish I could do pastoral paintings even half as well as you do. I've been practicing grass though as I am trying to get a natural look and not so much a tube paint look. :D

Here it is with a bit of refinement with transparent glazes, and signed. I'm finished now.
Try mixing your greens and don't use tube greens. They can be difficult to handle.

This is such a beautiful Landscape Linda -- so much to see in it, and to enjoy. I live in the country, and this is certainly my type of scene -- love it.

you toned the barn down some in the 2nd pic but it still looks a little 2 bright and crisp for the distance but thats a very minor point in such a great painting
