Hey does anyone know where someone could get posters of clay art and pottery to hang in a classroom? Prefer a free source if possible since i have no budget(i really mean it). The room is so dreary, no natural light, beat up folding tables, yellow walls. Some nice inspirational clay posters would be great.
I remember my college professor would get posters announcing conferences, shows and competitions all with great pictures of clay works on them...this kind of thing would be great. Anyone know how to get on these mailing list?

If there are ceramic shows in your area, distributers sometimes give out free posters. Wonder if you could contact some companies and ask for posters. Here's an example of what is gven away at shows:

Maybe you can contact the businesses listed in the link as ones giving away posters.
Good luck:)

I already found that page and also the clayart discussion group where everyone else not going to that conference were trying to score posters for their classrooms or studios.
There are no shows in my area that i know of. There may be some up in Tampa(still a goodly distance) but I don't know of them.

Theatres, arts centres and galleries get sent all sorts of flyers promoting artists and exhibitions. Although they aren't as big as posters they could collage into something colourful and interesting, worth asking anyway.
