i thought this forum was new~:) thanks for making it!
everything i see here is absolutely great, very impressive work.
my work is a bit different - but thought i'd share it anyway. charcoal and
gouache - not sure of the size...24x20 maybe. you can still see the wet drips!! I waste no time taking a picture! :)

Checked out your site, very cool stuff

When I resided in good ol' Austin, we spent quite a bit of time in Victoria, College Station and some time at Fitzgerald's there in Houston, there used to be an amazing BBQ place down the street from the Fitz...great before the show meal...
Got lost in the 5th ward one night, quite interesting...

Any way enough of my rambling, great site you got there, Great juxtapozition with the facial expressions and the free brush work..on some of them like "Moxie" you are doing what looks like leaving the area around the image open, unpainted, very cool

Beautifully done! Has a definite southwestern flavor/ambience (not usually associated with the Houston area). I lived in Houston from 1962 to 1966 as a graduate student at Rice.

Really nice work - oh! to be able to achieve that looseness. I enjoyed looking at your website and was really taken with your mixed media collection (similar in style to this one, I believe).

Great painting. I, too, checked out your website. Thoroughly enjoyed viewing your paintings. But I think your "experimental" work is my fav! So vibrant!

WOW
