G'day all,
I am back from my outback journey. We travelled 7041km through New South Wales and Queensland. Saw Wendy on the way and generally harassed the wildlife into coming out to pose for photos. I will need a week to sort throught the photos and then I might post a few. Have a good weekend all...

Hi Wendy and Lesley...glad you had a great time on your respective trips.

Just off to bed after a busy day. Too wet and cold to do much outside so spent most of the day making cakes and apple pies. :rolleyes: Love to eat them, but the time and effort of cooking them....oh boy!! However, my family are looking forward to collecting one each tomorrow.

Took this photo yesterday when we had some sunshine. What a hoot....look closely at the birds mouth. It is either singing or choking on something :D

Hi everyone:

I'm off to work again. We have a new person doing scheduling on the days that I sub and she's sending me all over the county! I better be getting paid mileage. My gas bill has gone up at least 50% since I started subbing. My poor little car's not gonna last if this keeps up.

And, she's not sending subs to places that really need it, like my home branch when we're short.

Here's a picture of me on a very hot day overlooking Santa Ysabel, CA. I'll say a little more about this place when I post for the "I" alphabet game. My hair is a mess because I was driving around all day with the window down.

Happy birthday Shirl and hello everyone! I've been all day working in my yard in prep for both getting needed work done and the real estate open house tomorrow. The brush is trimmed back and weeds gone and grass cut and flowers planted . . . it's really about as good as I can get it! No new blisters, either!
