View Full Version : Towards Light ( Harbor Tunnel)
08-22-2006, 11:02 PM
I painted this from a picture I took while passing through the Harbor Tunnel in Baltimore. We were close to the tunnel exit when I took this picture. The bright light seemed almost unnatural and the dispersion of light caught my attention.
As always, I look forward to your comments and critiques on this.

That's really great. You've captured the moment beautifully. (Do you see a possible sci-fi moment here?)

Looks like you are in hyper drive! 2 paintings in 2 days!! Love this one. Especially the car and mettalic sheen on it. Only comment is if you can ground the rear wheel of the nearest car.

Your city/vehicle scapes are wonderful for capturing an underlying beauty not apparent to many.

How does one descripe such a life like rendering.
You are going to go very very far. You must keep your work and build it up and have a show.

Bhavana
This is an award winning painting. Do save it for at least one competition before you part with it. Start at the top and go for something like the PSA. I know theirs is past for this year but it's worth saving for the next one.
