MY COMMENTS:
Well, here are a few of my first beads. These I think are fit to show, about a quarter of what I've made in the last 3 weeks since I started at a torch.

I'm still in the "ooh, what does this do??!" mode and have been trying anything & everything with my first few rods, shapes, colours, organics ...

Sorry about the crap photo's, that's something I also need to work on

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I've got a load of new glass in and now it's PPP time so I can use all of your tips!!

Lookin good so far. It only gets better and better with practice. PPP at the round shapes. Once you get the feel of it it is much easier.

Looks darn good for just starting out. Way better than my first ones. Try picking one of the beads and make it into a series. It is definitely good for refining a technique to sit and try to make ten mostly identical beads. Makes for a great necklace too.

Thanks Diane, Amy & Nightcat.

Great tip Nightcat, taking one and trying to make a series, I'll try that!
