Ok this is a little late (a couple of months). My pictures didn't come out and I finally got one emailed to me.

Size: 6ft by 10ft
Medium: Terry Ludwig pastels
Surface: Asphalt

So here's the result of crawling around on asphalt in 100 deg temperatures for 10 hours!

Hi Jason,

A bunch of congratulations !
I bet there were great aritsts there.
Your subject is a classic and always pleasant to see.
You have done a wonderful work.
Included in all the different qualities of your work, I especially like the way you've managed to depict their expression.
The sensation of 3D - so important in this kind of works - is also great.

Kind regards,

Josť

Wow! This is amazing, and so large!!! How did you prevent sweat from disolving the pastel in your hand??!? Do pastels melt into hot asphalt?

I'm soooo sorry your pics didn't turn out. Thanks for posting the picture. It is truely outstanding in any venue.

Wow! Congratulations! It's a beautiful painting--but of course we expect that from you... I would've sweated all over it and washed it off, LOL.

Wow, this is awesome!!! just magnificent, congrats!!! I hope you won a bunch of money for this!! I saw a street painter in Florence a couple years ago and I loved watching. Do you travel to street painting competitions throughout the world?

Wonderful! How can street painters bear to put so much time and effort into something so lovely, knowing it will just get washed away with the rain and/or stepped on and scuffed up?

CONGRATULATIONS Jason.
You continue to amaze me with the beautiful "temporary" work you do. Good thing Terry Ludwig lives in your area so you can easily replace all those pastels.
