I just purchased some pearl-X powders. LOL how do I use them with the poly clay, do I mix them in the clay or dust them on the surface??? Also, are mica powders the same thing?
Thanks Lin

Yes, mica powders are the same thing. You can mix some into clay as an inclusion, lightly brush some on the surface or mix with liquid clay to make 'paint'. If you use powders on the surface, you will need to seal them after baking with either translucent liquid clay or an acrylic sealer (Future, Varthane, etc.).

A little goes a VERY long way...and they are addictive. You can do A LOT with mica powders.

Thank you so much.

I experimented some today...I agree they are awesome! I can see where they could become addictive.

Again, Thankyou for the tips
