Gorgeous soft birds. Is that the matboard's influence, or is that the pencil work?

Your birds are really beautiful TJ. Beautiful soft colours, and the silver paper was a great choice for the background.
(I see you chose the same five I did. I remembered from somewhere that I was supposed to have an odd number. :D )

These are so cute - just like soft balls of cotton. Your technique on these is perfect. This one's definitely a keeper - frame it when you're done. (You can store it on one of my walls :D )

finished these little buggers as much as i care to...
pulled out an old paintbrush and did some blending here - (stiff dry brush ) darkened my initial colors and put in a background.
This is supposed to be a postcard... but I'm gunna have to mail it soon or I have a feeling it will dissapear!!

thanks again everyone for the comments.... I must say these are cute but have the grumpiest little faces....
BT- LOL this matboard has a suede texture to it - kind of fuzzy so yes it lends alot of the softness... you have to use a bit of different techniques on it though.. but fun to do!

mal - malarkey colors? looks like it to me!! LOL
MKathleen - Oh my it took him about 6 hrs to bribe them to go in that trailer! Final Score: Cowboy=1 Cows=25 LOL!!( I'm such a bad neighbor! LOL)
