This was started on white Claybord thinking it would be an experiment with color since I've worked mainly in black and white on the black Claybord. I did the painting and saw there wasn't many places for doing any scratching!!
Maybe it wasn't the right subject for that kind of experimentation?
Anyhow it's a 5"x7". Watercolor and black india ink. C&C's appreciated!

Bertoni, this one is marvelous. The color looks fantastic and this one I don't think would have looked as good in B&W. I love it!

I agree with Mary. Maybe you didn't have to do a lot of scratching on it but who cares? It's delightful as it is - the kind of piece that will generate a smile.
