I had a funny incident where my neighbour saw me paint a snow scene from my studio window, (we had a late snow in march!) I just was doing a quick ala prima while waiting for my real painting to show me my next brush strokes to suggest themselves to me. She rang me a week later and left this desparate message on my answer phone to buy the painting. If all sales were like that I would be a happy artist. I sold a bigger work that same day and this is the big one, was certified to be allowed to stay in USA permanently on the very same day. The next day the toilet backed up and flooded the floor. hehe karma or something.
