Sorry my friends, I was so busy enjoying my birthday yesterday the I completely missed this wonderful greeting thread.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your good wishes, and I have to say that your wishes came true. I had lunch with 21 friends and family and spent the day with my favourite sister Jean.

Unfortunately when I did log on later in the day my time was taken up dealing with the most unpleasant aspect of the job, dealing with a rude and inconsiderate member :(

Anyhow, that's done now and I have just been to Ormskirk and spent my art voucher presents on a portfolio to keep all my grandson Alexander's artwork in :) and had enough left to buy a 100 sheet pad of watercolour paper.

Now I have to organise a visit to M&S and spend my voucher an another shirt or pair of trousers.

I consider I'm lucky that after 39 years in Lancashire I have a wide circle of friends and that after six years I have an even wider circle of cyber friends on wetcanvas.
