The image of the kids on the steps appealed to me, so during the week I painted the scene in watercolours, not in 2 hrs but more like 12 hours, <BR>
Have posted in watercolour forum as well,
Arches paper 14 by 10 inches,

I commented on this in the w/c forum, but I just want to say again how much I like it. The detail is amazing and I love the light and depth that you've achieved here.
I'm suprised it took only 12 hrs! (I'd give up after 2 lol):)

Rod,
You certainly did get a lot of depth here. I feel drawn towards the kids, yet like I could walk right through the arch as well.
Thanks for finishing this off so nice.

Have a great day! :)

Terrific work, I did this one too. It was a challenge for me. You did it beautifully. Your children are fantastic.
