Just got some new Claybord tools and using this WIP to get used to them.

How exciting. I always like new toys:D
Can you upload a picture of the tools. I have no idea what is used so I would be very interested to see them.

Here's the new tool set I just started working with:
1. Scratch tool with point or fine nib
2. Oil free steel wool
3. Wire brush
4. Scratch tool with curved or wide nib
5. Fiber brush
6. Line tool

Thanks Bertoni. They look very similar to the tools I use for encaustics.

Oh how nice this is looking, Bertoni. Those tools look so exciting to play with. I'm waiting anxiously to see all of your new work.

You know they now have colours for scratchboard as well! (just in case you're interested)

Yes I'm interested for certain! I know Claybord has a set of colors. I thought I'd first try some acrylic inks! Thanks for the info!

I've used Ampersand's set and they are BRIGHT - unrealistically so. Well, at least for what I do. I now use FW Acrylic Inks and have had much more realistic :-) results.

That's good to know re: the Claybord color set! I wouldn't be happy with colors that are too BRIGHT!!!
I have some FW acrylic inks and will give them a try!!!:)
