I have a portraiture of my daughter I'm trying, there are interesting angles to arms and face, plenty of room round head etc, but one elbow goes off the picture. Do I paint it in and expand the space, or Leave as is? or do you need to see it first?
It is only a small area left off
Thankx

This may make it easier for you to help me, lots wrong so far, but at least a start I want to keep the arms in as they provide interest with the angles .. this may mean just suggesting the stairs that support the arms...

what you have is fine.

base your composition on the FEELING you get from it. if you were to bring the elbow in, she would look wedged in.....{M}
