Well, I switched gears for a minute ;) and decided to do an acylic of this starfish from an aquarium that we went to. It is hard to see but the left leg is not all filled in so it looks thinner-I will fix!
Any comments on this one?http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/27-Jun-2006/83364-seastar.jpg

Hi Lisa! You are one busy artist! I like your start on this! Interesting how we are all suddenly seemingly doing the same things. Spiderbabe has done a conch shell, I have done a sea urchin, and now your starfish! Wonder if anyone else will join the move? Anyway this starfish is looking great!

HI Corby,

Tht's funny, I saw that too. I love the sea urchin! Spyderbabe's conch shell is cool too. Sealife must be the theme for today! I'll have to "sea" how this one turns out! HA HA!
I decided to try acrylics, as a happy medium between oils and watercolor. i have more experience with them also, but it is hard when you switch from one to the other. this painting may take several coats before I get it right!

So, anybody up for painting an octopus????:D

Hi everyone,

Here is the third picture of my seastar WIP-any C&C definitely encouraged at this stage, so I can still have a chance to change it. What do you think so far?http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/27-Jun-2006/83364-seastar_002.jpg
