yes. . .pleased to see this forum. fortunately, here in the northeast we had a few very wonderful days. . .yesterday near the 60s i did this study behind our home. it happens we have a few of these overunders on the property, however this one seemed to present itself as the most favored.

usually i paint with a knife, but decided, because of the clarity of the light, to work totally with brushes. sometimes the buildup of pigment, when using a knife, for me, takes away some of the atmosphere and temperature which i aim to capture.

too bad the good weather didn't last - today we're in the 20s with very strong winds !

my best to all in this new forum ! ! !

Nice contribution here....! Interesting mix of verticals and horizontal...bold colors...vivid expression. Looks like it was a fun session!

I believe you did well in capturing the mood. Like the bright colors, and I can feel the cool weather. Yax

i really have to state that the colors are not a bold as represented in the image above. though color is important to me, it's less in the original than what you see.

somehow i have noticed that when i attach an image to a post, it appears stronger when viewed within the post than the original. i must be doing something wrong somewhere.

thanks again for commenting !
