View Full Version : Where can I get...?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get free photographs, sketches, drawings, for an educational site. I'm creating a site to help kids learn vocabulary through the use of pictures. The neat thing is we're going to be attaching different languages to each picture since the world is becoming more integrated every day. I'm going to be doing some of the pictures myself but to get started I was wondering if there was a quick way without destroying copyright to have some images quickly.

Thanks for the help!

what about doing a search on the net for free clipart (or is it clip art ?).
or public domain clipart.

I did a google for "copyright free photos" and a bunch came up. Here is one link http://gimp-savvy.com/PHOTO-ARCHIVE/

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the great resources! I really didn't want to use clipart, instead, I really wanted to use photographs.

Thanks to you guys, I've now got some photos to work with!

Thanks!

Welcome! There is an art reference library on the main page of WC (Wetcanvas) it is located on the left hand side down about midway, the 1st picture will have a link to it and I am including it here:

If I am not mistaken you can use these for reference and IF YOU CONTACT the member and get PERMISSION to use, you may be able to use many of them for your project. The info regarding all of this is on that page or has a link to it, don't remember. But either way, check it out. They are posted by folks on WC. ENjoy
