This is really nice Arlene!! Did you really do it in just 15 mins? Like the droplets of water on the flower and the colors you've used in creating this gem.

I'm not surprised you picked the rose. You make a very pretty picture of it. I wanted to do this one in colored pencil, too, but knew 2 hours wouldn't be enough time - Wow, less than 15 minutes!

arlene, I called you the Queen of the Flowers, and I meant it. This one is just a flash of beautiful insight with dewy droplets on top. Wonderful job, as always.

15 minutes!

Really gorgeous blending on the rose petals, and the water droplets are wild!

I also love the shading on the leaves, nicely done.

Would love to see what you could do with two hours! I squeak every second out of the two full minutes.

A rose by any other name...

This is really nice Arlene!! Did you really do it in just 15 mins?

yep 15 minutes...you can ask caron, she was in chat when i decided to do it for her, and finished as quickly as i could...needed to get back to the piece i'm working on...(which will take about 60 hours)

thanks surfinia, tuatara, impetuous, caron, guillot, wingnut, bt

zotma and cindy, i sure agree with you about them quickies...sometimes that's all you need to um...flesh out the subject! ;)

artdudette, i have posted most of my cp work on the cp forum...those pieces take me anywhere from 15 hours on up to over 100.

ty lady grey.

crissy, if i had more time, i'd go back to my "serious" piece...but this was fun
