This is mixed media, mostly watercolor crayons. The colors are better in the original..softer yellow and warmer everything else.
It was hard to decide! There are still 1 or 2 I want to try.
Another fun evening, thanks.

I love this, Sundiver! It's bright and soft at the same time. The colors are lovely and I love the shading. Excellent!

This is beautiful - so soft yet vibrant colors. You've really handled those watercolor crayons well.

What beautiful use of colours!! I like the delicate shades of the rose offset with the complimentary deep greens. I like your shapes and compositions too! Nice work!

This is suberb! You have achieved a very realistic quality to it and the effects you got of the rain was right on!! Would love to see the others you were contemplating on..:)

Thanks, everyone! :D
I've been wanting to play with my watercolor crayons (previously only used them to paint kids' faces) and the Drawing Events are perfect because I don't have time to piddle around.
I'm not sure I like the dark bumps they left on this rough paper.Smoother paper might be better.
I toned down the yellow and think I got a better scan.

I definitely like the toned-down yellow on the latter scan. Great job.
