"EN PLIEN AIRE" - July 14th to 23rd "En Plien Aire" celebrates the creative spirit of the outdoors by bringing a variety of local artists to the streets of downtown London to create and sell artwork beyond the studio and gallery walls. A changing collection of local artists will be creating and selling artwork at various outdoor locations downtown from July 14th to 23rd. Artist information and locations will be available at the Open Air III Office. All artists are invited and encouraged to participate by registering at the Open Air III Office or by calling 645-0819.

I've contacted this group. There is no fee for entering, and registration deadline is open until the event begins July 14th.

Work for sale is completely up to the artist. They will not be supplying tables or anything, so bring what you can cary!

Registering for this can be done at the Arts Project (http://artsproject.ca/index.shtml) on Dundas Street (right after Richmond). You will be reqired to drop off some images of your artwork, as well as an artist statement for their information book.

There is no limit to how many artists that can participate... So see you there!

Hi Lorraine!

This event is still going on. Artists will be out all this week, into next weekend. If you are interested in checking it out, I think the open air group are planning on having a big gathering of the painters and their works for one last final hooorah. As far as I know so far, tjey are planning on having this saturday and sunday down at the central library. But if you want to check us out any other time, you can find out information at the open air office about the locations of all the artists around town that day. I've been spendig most of my time on dundas street by the arts project! Others in victoria park, the market area too. Perhaps will see you around :D
