Only had a little over and hour on this, I have to leave to brave the blizzard outside (beasties hungry!) so I rushed it! :(
Be back later to see everyone else's! ;)
I forget what size - Prisma colors (eek!) on Canson drawing

You did this in just over an hour, Wingnut?! What a great job. And it was my favorite photo of the bunch. You must give yourself a big pat on the back!! :)

With this one Wingnut, you have really captured the way the boy was looking out past the relections and to the outside beyond. That was not easy to do and you did it so well. Fabulous!!

This image was popular and one of the hardest I think!!! You did a great job here! Love your use of CP's!! You do such a great job with them:D You have really captured that he is looking out the window and I think that was a hard thing to do. I also love the look you got on his face! You really feel sorry for him..This is fantastic Wingnut and only in an hour!! Hope you plan to finish!!!! Hey a blizzard eh? We got warm weather up here right now. Funny to see someone else experiencing the snow!!

Great work wingnut!! I love the reflective work!! Couldn't join in the fun last night, had to work. Have an art class today, maybe I'll get to post something tonight hopefully....
:crying: I was so sad that I couldn't join in :crying: :crying:

Thank you everyone (your all so sweet <img src= "http://bratwood.netherweb.com/smileys/love.gif"> ) I really liked this ref pic too - thanks Caron!!!
I put about another 1/2 hour on it this morning, and may have gotten carried away with the green :( but oh well, it was fun to experiment with colors (I think I used every color in the box!) I think I had the hardest time with his hair, I just couldn't get it any color I wanted, and then it started to look green so I gave up.
on to the next.....! :D

Oh I dont think you did:) There was alot of greenish yellow in his hair-if you looked for it you could see it..I like the additional work you did on it Wingnut!! Glad you liked the image:) It was the forelorn look on his face and the light on his hands that made me choose it....

Very, very nice, Wing. I like how you handled the glass in the window and the reflection--it really looks like one. You did a great job on the hands too, and I love all the colors in his hair! Great work!

I think the second version has more depth that the first one. You've done good!!
03-09-2002, 05:55 PM
Wingnut, I think you did a great job with this little fella.
Especially the second one, are you done yet? I don't think it needs more.
You really caught the yearning, in your version I don't think he's aware of his mirror image at all, one gets the sense that all he sees is what he could be doing, if he could get out there... and that's mirrored so well in your piece, the reflection boy seems like he's yearning to get in!
Wonderful rendition, just awesome!
