I know that this is not calligraphy nor celtic knots but while I have been waiting to talk to my client on Monday I decided to so some celtic Art in a different way and I thought that you all would enjoy it. I do this to relax and it is fun. This one is a Celtic Lion done on wood.

Brian, This is cool. The Lion is well drawn and the overall work is interesting. Is this woodburning or stained?? - Chris

Really nice!

I'm not allowed to try woodburning... being a bit of a klutz it's just asking for a trip to the emergency room for me. :D

Brian this is great. I think you are extremely good at woodburning. It's an art I love, but never get the time to do nowadays. You should do more, as woodburning sells well these days.

Val thanks for the kind words Annie and I enjoy woodburning and this guy was not much work for me but it was alot of work for Annie. I know that this not probable the forum for this but I thought that it is celtic art that we would post here. We are next going to try thing out of the Book of Kells. And I beleave that is calligraphy or should I say pyro-calligraphy/Illumination.
