Hi Ken,
This is quite interesting. A digital pastel.
Does the program let you choose the pastel behaviour ? i.e. it's hardness/softness, smaller/bigger tip and so on.
Can you also simulate the kind of paper that you're working ?
Regards,
José

This is lovely Ken and the colours are just gorgeous.:)
Yes , very interesting indeed.
Is it the same kind of program as the very powerful “PAINTER” ?
And can you create your own brushes ?
Kind regards ,
fmr

Hi José,
In short yes. :)
There are a wide variety of brushes (near 2000 in fact) with a collection of pastel brushes (ArtSet). This one is perhaps the best pastel brush available. The pressure and size are adjustable as well as the paper too. A 15 day free fully functionaly trial is available in the downloads section on the Pixarra site. http://www.pixarra.com
Thanks for the comments. :)

Hi fmr,
Yes TwistedBrush has it's roots in the same starting point of simulating tradiitional media. However, each program goes beyond that with some exotic brushes and effects. TwistedBrush is designed to be easy to use. Brush construction is available and users have created some fantastic brushes to add to the near 2000 brushes that are included with the program. Brush construction I'd say is more complicated than Painter yet in my biased view more powerful, with a system that is unique among digital art software.
Thanks for the interest and comments! :)
