This was from a photo in the reference image library by CP (thank you) and done in PSP X with the palette knife, smudge tool.

YOur cup and saucer are great Annie. The spoon needs a bit of work though.

Beautiful painting Annie , love the colours in this one  do you do an outline first or do you just start painting ?

Lovely colors I especially like the transparancy of the tea in the cup. A step by step would be nice to view.

oh yeah oh yeah, look at those colors. I just want to flop into that painting as it looks so warm and peaceful. I like that rendering of the tea liquid and the cup. Very nice.

Thanks for the nice comments.:D Jean, I do use an outline otherwise I lose perspective, I think it is my multifocal lens, I need a prescription for computor glasses.
Chiers, I think the vase and the book also need some attention:lol: .
I didn't keep the WIP Marge but will be happy to do so on the next painting I do which hopefully will be today.
My usual practise is to begin with the background and paint forward and in PSP I can work in layers so can smudge etc as I go and if I don't particularly like a layer I can delete it without ruining it all. I don't know about the Painter people use here if it is the same.

WOW, this is just beautiful. I see what she says about the spoon...maybe off a little from the bowl of the spoon to the handle, but I LOVE THIS...keep up the great work.
