whoa, it's Stan and Ollie (http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/Starstore_Catalogue_LAUREL___HARDY_CALENDAR__STAN___OLLIE_2240.html). But seeing Frank's response, now that I think about it, Abbott and Costello (http://www.abbottandcostello.net/) must have been consciously thinking of Laurel and Hardy when they came up with their act.

Nice, spare lines, Jean. Very good.

And okay, do you want art at its finest? For your artistic inspiration, the greatest comedy routine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mtSrlfW_is) ever done. Abbott and Costello, of course.

Stan Laural was so good, that he was imported from England to America as he was a complete natural and no one was better, cept maybe Chaplin. Hardy was the straight man, and took his cues from Stan.
