LOVE IT! I was saying to someone here a week or so back..."Careful with too much detail on the teeth!" But isn't it funny how the detailed teeth work so well in a caricature?
I love the shapeliness of the face, especially the way the nose juts out and the furriness of the brow. The bits of facial hair gives a nice effect.
I don't know if you meant to do it, but there's something about the uneveness of the pupils of the eyes that adds to the kookiness of the entire drawing.
Plus the grip of the hands lends a craziness to the guy's attitude.

Great painting and caricature Frank  is this Tom Cruise?:)

Thank you Jean And Tom!

Tom, I'm one who likes detail :P ,even on teeth. But you are right, for anything other than a caracature, I would never outline each tooth with black.

Jean, this is Mr. Crazy Cruise. :P

Frank this is your first caricature? It is terrific!! I knew who it was right away. YOu have done a terrific job on this perhaps you have found your niche in the art world. Well, no I guess you are good in most areas of your artwork. This one in particular can be a source of easy quick cash if you've a mind to market it.

Thank you all for the comments. These are quite fun to do. Its great not to worry about meassuring anything or being off :P. Ive been looking at alot of other work out there and my apreciation for this art form has definetly Grown big time. Enough so that Ive tring to comit to doing a caricature a day for the next month :P, see what I learn from it. Only on #2 though, so lets see if I this will actually stick.

Anyway, Joel, thank you, here is the completed Rock (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/frankie3215/detail?.dir=fd0e&.dnm=9b0dscd.jpg&.src=ph)
Here is one I grew proud of here (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/frankie3215/detail?.dir=fd0e&.dnm=a52escd.jpg&.src=ph) and this one is just the latest, mispelling in there of course. here (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/frankie3215/detail?.dir=fd0e&.dnm=7784scd.jpg&.src=ph) these are a lil more ummm risky humor, so if sensative, dont click on em. No nudaty, but might rial some people I guess if you are a huge bush fan and a lil sensative.
