Great job on this Jean! You know, I like the first one you showed us with the outlined pic showing too. I know you don't intend it to be part of your painting but I think it would also look terrific with an ink outline. Of course, it would be a whole different style but a good one.

That's one for the wall Jean. I love that, all the muted colours. The texture of the different fruits is well caught. GReat.

Jean I'm just going to take a bite out of that fruit and doubly enjoy this painting. The realism of the fruit catches my eye first. The complex colors and texture is remarkable.

I love the simplicity of the black pedestal. It's wonderful how with a few lighter lines you shape blackness into a carved or molded stand. I like the roughness, too, of the stand. It's slightly twisted or bent, and that is so pleasing to my eye.

Could you do a detail shot of the fruit if you get the chance?

that's so nice. Love that shadow especially that the center fruit is casting on the righthand fruit. The blend of colors is lovely.
