........ and delighted that Dianna allowed me to use a second image of hers from the workshop, I managed to do the background whilst there in the last 10 Mins - and wanted to find out how her techniques would translate over on to Wallis, though I did find myself working back in my old manner. The remainder was worked on Sunday, and tinkered about with it tonight lol ...... I find Wallis so fast to work on....... suits my temperament :D

Thoroughly enjoyed working on this, .......... was delightful

Hey, and Guess what............ I even quite like the GREENS ...... yeahhhhh

Oh, it's gorgeous Dawn! Love the reflection under the vase, gorgeous colours all around as usual!! Yeh, the greens look good, lovely transparent light in the leaves and flowers, and the BG work very well!

I think this version show off your style much more than the one from the workshop. Both beautiful, but different in style. Love to see your special take on colours, always loved that...I have to try Wallis more, wouldn't mind working faster....:D But I gotta say La Carte has grown on me,and I automatically grab a sheet when starting a new painting, time to experience a little...

Super work!!!

Delightful indeed Dawn! Lovely colours in this, and I love the light flaring on the rim of the bowl, and the background is great too!

Oh yes! The color and the light are wonderful. I'll have to go check out the other...I didn't know you were taking Dianna's workshop. I like this...and can see you shining through here. That's great because it is important to learn and to keep yourself.

Beautiful work Dawn. Nice to see the Magnolia from a different angle. BTW I am back safely in Holland. The sea was a bit rough though :)

There is no better word than delightful for this. Excellent job. Love the mood you portrayed with the background. The glint of light on the bowl's reflective surface is amazing. I would think that would be very hard to do but you did it!
