this bridge is located near the center of stuttgart. There is a scrap metal and waste collecting company nearby. The place is not typical, but very tempting although it is a kind of junk space. I did this charcoal drawing for the Stuttgart project (http://stadtlandschaft-stuttgart.net).The size is ca. 19"X25".
On the same day I could do 3 sketches which can be found here (http://www.edition-handdruck.de/stuttgart/skizzen/skizzen.html). Most likely I will publish a faksimile book of the sketchbook, which shall contain about 70 sketches in size of 18X26 cm or 7"X20"
C&C always welcome.

Greetings, Martin. Charming work.

I liked visiting your site, too. Even more interesting drawings there. What is the date for the show?

Hello Robert,
thanks for looking. The show will be in may next year. Until then I hope to have about 70 sketches + 70 prints+ 20-30 charcoals.

Hello Wes and Bobbo
thanks for looking and for the compliments. I am not fully on good terms with this drawing. I found that I was not able to display the construction with all the interesting details in an adequate way and therefore it might have been better to use a more rigid handwrite and simplyfy things a lot. I still feel it contains to much details which thin out the message.

Wonderful loose style you've got there! I loved visiting your site. It's now in my favorites folder. :D

I think it looks fine Martin, I like your sketches too. Maybe you have been looking at it too long and you will like it better when you haven't seen it for awhile. Its a very nice drawing. Lori

Thank you Rain and Lori for looking and your comments. Yes it has happened to me quite often that only after some time I could accept my work.
