I'm sorry again, I didn't even check the times, I thought it was for tonight, and missed it. GREAT reference pics! Good Host, good host, good host!!!!!
I tried this on black paper, with nothing but a white pastel pencil (derwent) and a kneadable eraser. Digistyle posted a study in light and dark earlier in the week, which I loved, and it motivated me to try this one in the same style.
Not NEARLY as good as what I've seen here, but I'm bound to get better, just by learning from you all!

That's cool artdudette! I like it, smokey eyes for the smokey hand :D, glad you could contribute, even if late... I gotta try that white pencil next time...

Nice I need to try the white pencil too. It's gives such a sensitive look to the piece.

Glad to see you try it this way artdudette! When I saw Bobbys pics, I thought of that very same post of digistyles:) You did a great job here-it really is shrouded in mystery!! Very cool:D

Very effective use of white on black; it really suits his mysterious, seductive character.

Great! You've really got the mood of this photo, I think it's the eyes that do it, they really pull the viewer in. And that mouth is excellent:)

I think you have a mask-like look to the face. It adds to the mystery, very movies. Like your treatment of the hands too, especially the ring. Well done.

I'm speechless... you all are so supportive, and so encouraging... Artdude told me to join wetcanvas, he said I'd love it, and he was
I swear, I'm going to be here on Friday, DURING the event, not after, and am looking forward to seeing what's next.
I haven't done so much work in... ever! It's not all great, but it's all fun!
