Did these in painter after doing a pencil outline to get the basics of the onion and then painted. The onion in the background went fast the one in the foreground I struggled with...same thing and yet, one caued a problem lol:confused:

Great onions TX! Not sure what it is about onions but they are fun to paint I think. You have done well with these. Maybe if you showed where part of the skins have cracked and fallen off? Usually onions aren't quite this neat.

Aggie, they look so real and juicy.I love raw onions, sometimes i eat them like tomatoes..lol Gorgeous!

Awsome job TX! I really love the colors you used and the background you created. The only thing that i think is a lil strange is that each onion looks like its under a different light. (prob that way in the pic too).

Darlin, we all tend to struggle at some point during a painting... that's really a part of the journey where we learn the most... True to form, you pulled it off in the end! These are beauts!:thumbsup:

hmmm I looked at the lighting and you are right, it does look like coming from different places....I kept wanting to highlight that front one and I should have gone w/ what I thought LOL
