Ian Smith, a health expert on ABC's "The View," among other things... He's also done lots of writing for Men's Health magazine. Many of you may recognize him from his appearances as the health guru on the reality show "The Biggest Looser".

Lovely Joel, it's difficult dealing with a smile in a painting, but this looks good. I like the palette.

Barry, yes the teeth gave me pause... but I treated them just like any other shape.

Annie, thanks for the thumbs up. Sometimes I spend lots of time on the eyes... this time I decided to treat the eyes with only a minimum of detail.

Nice, nice, nice! I really like how you simplify your subjects, leaving out unnecessary details, concentrating on their character/personality. Outstanding!

Oh man...I missed it too. What a suplendid portrait it is. Love the skin tones in it. Yummy I would say....:lol:
