Wonderful work Orchidlover. The hair is fabulous!

I couldn't get my blacks anywhere near as dark.:(

thanks everyone.

RuthT - I had to spray with fixative and go over and over it 3 times to get it this black. Plus my scanner loves b/w pics.

Hi Orchidlover,

There is a touch of Zena here. Forceful yet contained as is your use of charcoal. Really nice use of shapes, and dark light contrasts. Gives her an edge. Nice to see.

Incredible! so dark and moody, geez this gal could melt ice wiith a glare like that!:) I love the way you've done the hair, and all that fixing and layering was well worth it, the dark makes it even more dramatic!

I agree with everything that has been said - it is very dramatic and moody! Love it - looks almost like watercolour washes or ink washes. Well done OL!
