Nice choice for the border! Interesting idea to incorporate the branch... Are you picturing the series as a family tree? It might look really cool if when the series is done & they're all hanging, if the various branches could almost connect...

Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Richard, I really like that border knot. The branch is coming in well also. I can't wait to see more! - Chris

Hi im back with updates.heres the new things.ive selectyed a more twisted gnarled branch.the fantasy dogs are spiritual,so thats why there are legs fading.the circles are halos i will draw later.knots go last for they are geometry.my heart aches for i fear once the pale ink sketch is done my lack of talent in watercolour will destroy and it will join my unfinished works(sigh).http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/11-May-2006/69175-Scan1.JPG

is there no way for the image to be bigger?

Richard, this is coming along really nicely!

If you're nervous about using watercolor, do some practice runs first. Print out different sections of your piece, transfer it to the same type of paper as you'll be using, and play around until you feel comfortable. Or try colored pencil. or pastels. Or...

Looking forward to seeing more!

Richard I especially like the border knot. This is going to look great keep up the great work.

Soon I will be posting something I have been mapping out for week but it seems that I have a mental block and nothing appeals to me. I have to get this project done but it is the hardest project I have ever done to get my head wrapped around. I just don't like anything that I have mapped out.
