A quick post before hitting the sack. This painting was done completely with custom brushes (with the exception of the blender.), a first for me. I'm pretty happy with the result overall. Ref was a handy magazine ad. Painter IX.V.

Cute digi. Maybe the background and the green dress are a bit too similar in color? Love her outfit. I think those ears could poke out an eye of anyone that got too close.

Didn't you know that long eared elves only sleep on their backs!?! :D

Actually I wanted the colors fairly close. I felt that elves would kind of blend into the woods. Only the sharpest eyed humans would spot them easily.

Hey Digistyle. I love it, especially the elf. SOOO much more personality in her than one created with Poser. (Sorry, I hope I haven't offended any Poser users. Didn't mean to. Just so much more character than a Poser elf,)

Thanks! I do have to admit that I enjoy doing this stuff immensely. I've played with Poser, thinking that I'd use it as a figure reference, but I've never put in the time to learn the program.
