I thought I would post the portraits I did in Skinny's challenge, and that conformed to the Painter's Alley prescription. the only one that didn't was the one of Joel. We must do that again sometime, with a new set of Phunny Foto's. All done with the sarent's brush and some conte.

Very nice portraits, Barry! My favorite is Maria.. love the colors on her and the boldness with what it was painted .

Thanks Annie and Kirk. I think the Maria is my favourite, though I was pleased with Edie's jacket. Sometimes I start a painting, thinking this is going to be SO loose, like Mark Malone sometimes does, and it ends up all tight and fiddly. Maria was quite successful in that way.

Great stuff Barry!! particularly like the looseness and brushwork in 'Maria'. Yes a tute or demo would be a good idea I think !!:thumbsup:
