View Full Version : I Ain't Gonna Shave Him!...You Shave Him!

I hadn't tried to create a custom brush yet, so I printed Don Seegmiller's brush creation tute from the Corel Painter Education and Training page. The brush created was a hairy brush, to use on furry critters.

After I created the brush, I drew a quick sketch to paint and then the fur began to fly...LITERALLY! I didn't have a clear image in mind, I just knew that he'd be hairy. So, it started out as kind of a caveman, then he went a bit trollish. I think I've left him somewhere in between.

Anyway, it was great fun!

Thanks, folks.

Maybe I can turn him into the prototype for a new toy, "Tickle Me and I'll Club You, Elmer!" (Note the adroit name change to avoid being sued! )

do you have the link for Corel
Here it is: Seegmiller tutorial (http://www.corel.com/painterix/training/tutorial_hair_fur.html?trkid=tpc0705tut)

this is from your imagination?...
I thought that it was, until my wife pointed out that she thought he looked like the 70's cartoon, Captain Caveman. (http://www.pureimagination.co.uk/captaincaveman/images/caveyshout.jpg) There is more than a passing resemblence even down to their choice of fabric (Which they both stole from Fred Flinstone!:D ). All those years of TV watching must finally be leaking out of my subconcious!
perhaps you need therapy
Would you happen to have the number for Dr. Fraser Crain?
