View Full Version : Once Upon A Time... Snd

Once upon a time
in a Cyberland called Wetcanvas...
Sherville held an event.
Friends gathered in front of computers...
waiting for images to be sent.
And soon they appeared.
Images of horses with knights on their backs.
Fair maidens with falcons...
and gauntlets of steel.
They drew and they painted...
two hours were spent.
Here at Wetcanvas...
at another "drawing " event !

Wow. This is incredible. It's got the colors of heraldry, with the stained glass black outlines, and you added a personal effort to it with the "Once Upon A Time" part. Impressive work.

I agree with Rose Queen - looks like a classic children's book illustration - very nice use of warm and cold colors. I like it :D

poetry goes so well with art, the basis of many great pieces of art. Feelings are portrayed in every line, brushstroke, and breath for someone with the heart and mind for both poetry and art. :)

Very unique approach!! I absolutely love it and agree you SHOULD be doing illustrations!!!

Sherville... loved the pictures and thanks for contributing them & your time ... it was a challenging drawing event but as always...
a lot of fun

And to everyone who has dropped in to share their words of encouragement ... I thank you.

I am especially grateful to be in such talented company as I have been with everyone here at Wetcanvas.
The vast array of subject matter presented at the drawing events has made me stretch beyond my limits.
Admittedly not always easy BUT ...

I think I'm " hooked " ....

Regards to everyone & hope to see you all at the next drawing event.

Join in if you haven't yet ... it's lots of fun and you never quite know what you'll be drawing from one week to the next.
