View Full Version : SND-2-24 Crusader's Horse

Wasn't much in the mood to draw so had a hard time deciding on something. Finally narrowed it down to the crusader's horse (posted) and the woman with the falcon (too bad to post). I'm not really satisfied with the horse head, but I guess it's okay. (I think I'll try again tomorrow when I may be more inspired).
2B and 4B graphite pencil on Strathmore drawing paper.

I think that this must be a mare because she has a lovely feminine feel:) I really like the shadow under the flags on the reins.

Add some more darks and I bet you will like it better. Look forward the additional drawing(s) you said you were going to draw on Monday.

Lovely, soft horse--I want to reach out and stroke her. Nice work, Surfinia!

I'll admit, these images had quite a lot in them, I think it was a good choice to choose something within the picture and concentrate on that. I love the look you captured on his face... looks the part for sure!

This is really delicate and focused..I like what you did. You did this AND the girl both in the 2hours! You should be proud! Its well done...a lot better then your giving yourself credit for. I would like to see you continue on it!:D
