I have nothing to do today, so, I painted a few walls in the house, platinum white is the color, a soft warmish white that changes dramatically as the day changes. Blue in the morning, warm in the afternoon and as the sun sets it has a purple cast to it.

I just installed the first of the picture hanging rail today. It is not terribly intrusive but now I realize that I need to get a halogen lighting system which will hug the ceiling.

Howard that looks great!  It looks similar to the hanging system our local Art Society has recently installed in their gallery. Do the hooks slide up and down the support? We have an electrical circuit running around the top of the wall into which we can easily attach lighting wands so that each painting on the suopport is well lit.It was expensive, but makes it so easy to hang an exhibition.

It is a Dick Blick item. The whole thing is called the Walker Display System. I became aware of it at our city hall. I think it is easy to install and some of the componenants can be painted if desired. I selected the natural aluminum.

You might want to check this out.
