View Full Version : Jared's Sister - Portrait - Painter

Here is Jared's Sister a Painter portrait. I used oil brushes.

I scanned in the photo at 300dpi at 100%. Using this in PhotoPaint I masked out the head and body and applied a gaussian blur to the BG. I saved the file as a TIF and loaded into Painter. I made a clone and cleared it and used the Ctrl-T feature to paint her. I added details with the oil brushes (not cloned.) Then I saw that the color was very sepia toned (from the original photo) so I used CorrectPhoto to get a better color balance.

That is why this is not in Painters Alley. I used many features of 3 different programs to complete this portrait.
