A little early for this but it seemed challenging. I thought I had better paint something before I forget how completely.

I have found it is never too early LOL You have a great beginning here and from the looks of what you have sketched for the reflections it seems to be a winner!

and I know how difficult it it to freehand round objects.
Ha, it's just as hard for me to trace them. I just cannot seem to get the squiggles out of a straight line or a curve freehand. It does help to put a paper on my tablet but I seldom do because I don't like it there for painting and am don't want to keep taking it on and off. If you saw this full size you would see the out line is not nearly as round or clean as the resized version makes it look.

Artistic shine=The art of illusion:D

Oh, yeah, tell my brain that, I have 15 unfinished, lying around. Is't remarkable how the eye/brain, sees that shinning orb, even tho, part of you knows it's just carefull placed colors. Still too early for the season, don't like to think about it.

Beautiful Sherry. I'm new here, so going through older posts. This really caught my eye.
