Zip the 3 or 4 files up they will be....jpg, .nib, .stk, and .xml files located in C:\Documents and Settings\name\Application Data\Corel\Painter IX\Brushes\Painter Brushes\name of your folder

The apple is nice, but I really like the woodgrain of the surface!

Simple subject but a good study of an apple! The brush you used to depict it is wonderful!

Thanks for looking in Bev, digi,Yako,Jin and Sherry

Jin the b/g was done with the same brush which unfortunatley I can't find,It's there if I want to use it but when I go looking for it it is nowhere to be found I have such a terrible time with saving painter brushes and getting them back .

And can someone tell me how you know if your upgrade to 9.5 worked ? I had a hard time with that also, had to find download manaager and disable it to get it to save and then when I ran it nothing seemed to change in Painter .
I like Painter but it doesn't seem to like me

Jean when you open the program it will have a bunch of pictures instead of the hand (thank goodness) and on your screen where it usually has pictures on the left (on the right you pick new image , open existing, etc.) above them it will say Painter IX.5

Marge I'm ready to pitch this d... program into the garbage. I uninstalled, reinstalled, installed 9.1, held shift down ( lost my brushes ) disabled my download manager, downloaded Painter 9.5 update, thought I installed , again held shift down while starting and it still says 9.1

Jean did you disable your firewall and virus prog too? I've heard they can cause problems. The only things that really have made a difference to me as far as the upgrade is the new splash screen, and it will now open psp images. Thats a biggie for me.

I have found with every update to Painter I definitely have to disable the virus protection and I never have that firewall on in XP it is a royal pain! LOL
