Beyond Reality "Challenge Threads!"

The Challenges are activity threads open for anyone who wants to join. Old work is just as welcomed as new work, provided you haven't already used it in another similar challenge (example: if you used a fairy in the first challenge, try not to use it in the 2nd fairy challenge!). Challenges that are really popular will be run seasonaly, and old, completed challenges can be found in our library (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=111) at the top of the forum, or listed in this thread. Also, all challenges will be closed once they reach the 15 page mark allowing a new challenge to start, so just continue on in the new thread. Old challenges will be moved to the library sub-forum. This will help keep challenges fresh and easy to follow for newcomers.

Anyone is welcomed to start a challenge, but please keep in mind what kind of challenges have been done in the past. If you're unsure if a topic is good for a challenge, please contact the forum guides and moderators and we'll give you our feedback.

Man, I'm tired of watching everybody participate in these challenges and me sitting away from the croud....:crying: they seem to come at the wrong time
in my schedule lol. BUT NOT TODAY!! muahaha!...*ahem* anyway, may I
suggest a challenge?

You can particpate in a challenge at any time :D When one challenge fills up, we 'll get another similar one going.

Ofcorse you can start the challenge! Feel free to start the thread for it :D

I like the space ships idea.

Seems like about 70-80% or so of this board's stuff is fantasy.
Sci-fi never seems to be as popular, and I've noticed that sci-fi artists tend to be a little more "hardcore" than other kinds of artists.

Of course, sci-fi and fantasy do kind of go together.
Just fantasy seems more popular these days.
But I do some of both... but mostly sci-fi.

Authur C Clarke 's "Fountains of Paradise " is pure sci/fi , a story about building a "space elevator " an alt to rockets, very techy stuff ,that NASA has taken seriously with prodjects and tests , maybe you could illus something about that .

Can I make a suggestion? On the list above where it says "Were-Creatures" could we change it to something like "Were-Creatures and Furries" please?

That way it'll be more obvious that that's the thread for furries (half human, half animal hybrids), and distinguishes it a bit more from the Werewolves thread.
Otherwise many people won't find the thread for Furries - and furries are great! :p
