I came across a pretty cool website called Artnatomy, Anatomical Basis of Facial Expression Learning Tool (http://www.artnatomia.net/). It gives you a lot of control over the facial muscles.
Its really useful for those of us who like to draw cartoons. I drew this character using the "Scorn" expression as a base in about 15 minutes.
Give it a try. I think it'll will wind up in one of your "Favorites" folders.

either I am miunderstanding it or it isn't working for me. Is the image of the face suppose to change expression when you click on something?

Thanks, this was a fun sketch to do.
Is the image of the face suppose to change expression when you click on something?
In the top menu, select "Level II." Switch to "Naturalistic Model" on the bottom menu. The expression building options will be to the right of the model.

Yes, the expression should change. When you click on an expression (far right) the face should change. You should be able to further refine the expression by selecting options from the Movement and Examples menus. Maybe you need to update your Flash player? The program requires Flash 6 or better.
Hope this helps,
