Thanks for feedback. I am planning on making a lot more. Random pieces of wood are fun to paint on. I will be posting more as they are completed.

Very nice work - what sort of sizes are they? It would be very interesting to see a work in progress some time.

Hi Jimmy.

This is such great mixed media that I would like to try my hand at a few.

Please could you give more details with your work in progress.

I can get hold of pine 4 x 4 off cuts, will they do?

Do they have to be treated first?

Whats with the acrylic, is it used as a wash?

The coloured pencils? Are they used to make an under drawing, or the full work over the acrylic?

Sorry for all the questions, but I cant see the details properly.

Would very much like to see more of your work. Great stuff!!!

The who idea started because I ran out of canvas, so I used wood.
There are different ways to approach this. You could start with a pencil sketch first, then use an acrylic wash or the opposite. There is not a strick method to use. I kind of like to freestyle it and just go with the flow. All the pieces were done differently. I think it would be easier for me to explaine with progress images and notes. I will post it this weekend.

Thank you Jimmy,

Will be waiting and watching. What I like most of all in your work is the darkness of it... The air of mystry. Looking, having to peer into the work because none of it is in stark detail.

I love the mystry feel, and have tired to get it in my work posted in Abstrcts... its called Tarxine. Also done in red. Maybe not a great work of art, but I aceived my objective.

Your work gives me another angle to look into in this dark mood.

Loveit! Love it!!!!
