Hi...I've just recently started working with digital painting and did this sky and mountains landscape. Unfortunately I only have a mouse to work with so I found out why a stylus is really necessary! I enjoyed it though and this was done in Twisted Brush and PS.

C&C welcome.

Pam..it's beautiful! I love that impression of light beaming through the cloud cover... I think you'd really enjoy a pen. Most of us do.

OMG, felt uncomfortable; So did riding a bike the first dozen times, but did that stop you? Get one, if poor, try ebay, or the Goodwill store, I go thru a lot of keyboard cause I am hard on certain buttons, so I bought three at once there for $6.00, whole puters for 20, lotsa printers and scannes too, now. Tho scanners and printers were slow to arive. There are brands of tablet, for less than the Wacoms too, just Google em'.

Thanks Jay...you know I love your landscapes...you certainly have excellent control with the mouse...I guess my mouse space is just so limited that it is a bit difficult to get the movement I need to do what I want to do. (I'm also using my right hand and I'm a lefty:lol: )

Thank you Skinny....I love painting clouds and am always fascinated by those light beams when I see them IRL..just makes me want to get out my brushes and paint! I'm seriously considering the pen!

Thanks Greg...good idea to look at those places! My s.o. says he will let me practice with his tablet, but I think I really want my own...besides, I'd have to leave my wee studio and go down the hall to his to practice:lol: I don't especially need an expensive tablet at this time...just want to learn how to use it and see what I can do with it. I appreciate your suggestions!:D

  That would be "significant other" Some s.o.'s would be classified as a probation officer, but mine certainly isn't that! :D

For what I see, you will do wonders with landscapes.

Thank you Janet! I am hoping to get a tablet soon and then begin some real practice. I seem to be a bit limited with the mouse and it's really very slow as well...not sure when though.

I understand. With a mouse it is much more difficult and slower.
