Hi Sherville,
Check up on head proportions eg eyes about halfway down skull, bottom of nose halfway between eyes and bottom of chin etc.All this of course subject to peculiarities of subject Expression is good and simplicity great.Naming definately correct.

Thank your for taking the time to look at this, ohju and billy.
In the original photo the girl was looking upwards, so, as a result, had a small forehead. It seems I probably did not get the 'looking upwards' quite right to show this.
Any suggestions on how to make it appear more like she is looking up?
Much appreciated http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sherville - I like this drawing! I like your use of line a lot!!
If she was looking up (ie: head tited back (?) slightly), then her forehead could be even smaller, with less visible especially near the top of her head. Also, you would see a bit more of the under-side of her nose..and a bit more of the under-side of her chin. Sherville, you are familiar with the shape of a trapezoid?. If you want to emphasize a head that is tited back..just think of the head within that trapezoid. Their are two parallel lines in a trapezoid, (top and bottom), the side lines from base to top, angle inward (at varying degrees)..I think you know how this would relate to the angle of the head. I wouldn't worry about changing this drawing too much..it is very nice as it is..I really like the range of lines..and shadows you've used. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif
