I take it that this is a bird that brings luck?? Thanks for posting such a vibrant ink drawing!! Hope to see more of your work in this forum :)

This is beautiful. Aren't gel pens fun to work with? Did you know that you can use them on black paper too?

WOW - what brilliant colors. I've never even seen a gel pen (I must be behind the times) - got to go find them. TiNy, you did an excellent job with those pens.

Love the colours TiNy, and also like the way you have left the clouds in outline.

Phenoix? My goodness this is beautiful. Especialy since its in pen :)

I've been experimenting with some gel rollers too. Nifty pens aren't they. I especialy love the way they write on black paper.

The archival gel pens can usually be found with the scrapbooking section of your local art store/walmart/etc.

This is great, nice and vibrant!

You can find them in the stationary section too. Usualy in packs of 4 or so. Phlorecent and gold and silver are the most common.

They can write on just about anything (since someone asked). Paper, all kinds. Canvas. Plastic i think. They decorate all sorts of things with it. It is especialy nice because it can write over top of other colors, like the black paper. I just love gold pen on black paper :)

They now make special note books just for gel pens, the paper is black with purple lines for people like me who like it :)

you can get them at art supply shops and newagents aswell... they come in quite a few different ranges like:
normal (black, red, blue, dark blue, dark green, purple)
fluro (yellow, orange, green, pink)
pastel (purple, pink, orange, green, blue and yellow)
metallic (red, blue, green, pink, silver and gold)

you can buy them seperately or in packs of 4 and 8 but they're pretty expencive....
